Do we have a Vedic system of education?

Yes. Vedic system of education is considered as a means of emancipation from life bondages and continuing through Guru-shishya parampara (teacher-taught tradition) and running through Veda Patahasalas, Gurukulas, Mathas and traditional universities. Vedic system of knowledge is divided into two kinds of knowledge, i.e. worldly and other worldly. The worldly education was chiefly mean for social aspects and the other worldly education was related to achieving salvation.
